Martin Schuy has a Master's degree in Real Estate Project Management. In addition to his studies, he worked in asset management for four years.

Since the beginning of 2020, he has been working in product and project development in the field of sustainable, serial and modular construction. His focus here is on affordable construction. During this time, he has gained a wide range of experience in project management (180 units in modular construction) and in consulting mandates for redensification in urban areas.

In his last position, as commercial project manager, together with a pension fund in a consortium, he developed a toolbox in modular timber construction for residential construction; the first application partner is a timber manufacturer with an output of almost 900 residential units per year.

In his position as “Project Developer Modular Design”, he has also developed a building project in Berlin with 72 residential units for senior citizens as well as a daycare center and outpatient nursing station in modular timber construction.

He now works independently as the founder of SUSTAINABUILT®.

In addition to traditional consulting, SUSTAINABUILT® focuses on the development of proptech/contech solutions for sustainable construction.

Martin Schuy hat einen Masterabschluss in Real Estate Projekt Management. Neben seines Studiums war er vier Jahre im Asset Managements tätig.

Seit Anfang 2020 ist er in der Produkt- und Projektentwicklung im Bereich des nachhaltigen, seriellen und modularen Bauens tätig. Hierbei liegt sein Fokus auf bezahlbaren Bauen. In dieser Zeit hat er vielfältige Erfahrungen in der Projektleitung (180 WE in Modulbauweise) sowie in Beratungsmandaten für die Nachverdichtung im urbanen Raum gesammelt.

In seiner letzten Position hat er als kaufmännischer Projektleiter, zusammen mit einem Pensionsfond in einer ARGE, eine Toolbox in Holzmodulbauweise für den Wohnungsbau entwickelt, der erste Anwendungspartner ist ein Holzbauwerk mit knapp 900 Wohneinheiten Output im Jahr.

Zudem hat er in seiner Position als “Project Developer Modular Design” ein Bauvorhaben in Berlin mit 72 Wohneinheiten für Senioren sowie einer Kita und ambulanten Pflegestation in Holzmodulbauweise seitens Vorhabenträger entwickelt.

Nunmehr arbeitet er Selbständig als Founder bei SUSTAINABUILT®.

Neben der klassischen Beratung geht es bei SUSTAINABUILT® um die Entwicklung von Proptech/Contech-Lösungen für das nachhaltige Bauen.
